With the noughties nearly gone, Steve Jenkins from Web Designer kindly asked me what I’m looking forward to in 2010.

January 15, 2010Speaking at FITC Amsterdam 2010
January 12, 2010In a rather eventful February, I’m also looking forward to speak for the third consecutive year at FITC Amsterdam 2010. Always a highlight of the winter, this event consists of 2 days and 2 nights packed with inspiring presentations and great parties.
My session is titled 3D for the Masses and will basically cover the latest work created at our studio HelloEnjoy, dedicating special attention to our new little toy HelloRacer.
It’s also a fantastic opportunity to meet my friends and colleagues of the community. Hope to see you all there.
Speaking at Casual Connect Europe
January 12, 2010I’m very excited to be speaking at Casual Connect Europe in Hamburg, Germany.
Taking place from February 10-12 2010, the conference will bring together more than 3,500 professionals and experts in the field, with a clear focus on the iPhone as a gaming platform and browser based games.
I’ll be presenting our latest 3D work in Papervision3D and Unity in a session titled It’s All Uphill From Here… Moving from 2D to 3D Browser Games, alongside Alex Suarez from L39 Studios.
Autumn Projects
December 11, 2009As you might have read on the HelloEnjoy Blog, we have recently worked on a couple of projects here at the studio:
- HelloRacer Unity: Our first piece for the Unity Web Player and the most technically advanced I’ve produced to date. Shown for the first time at the CaT London conference.
- Starbucks Love Project: An interactive CD made with Papervision3D for the Christmas Starbucks Product (RED) campaign.
I’ve got my favourite, but hope you like them both.
Speaking at CaT London
October 12, 2009I’m very excited to participate again in the Creativity and Technology conference, this time in London.
CaT is certainly the most interesting conference that combines advertising and technology. Organized by the Creativity magazine team, the speaker selection is very impressive and their work will blow your mind. From mobile to Open Source, covering the latest trends and award winning projects in all things digital.
I’m working on a new presentation for this event, but you can watch the video of my previous panel together with Ben Fry of Processing and moderated by Nick Parish.
Look forward to see you there!
FOTB 09 Recap
October 7, 2009Flash on the Beach was a fantastic experience once again, a great opportunity to catch up with the Flash community and get inspired by some of the most talented speakers of the industry.
Really enjoyed presenting our studio work during my session and also had the chance to participate in an Adobe panel about the future of advertising.
Many thanks to John Davey and his team. We’re already looking forward to next year’s!

Flash on the Beach 09
September 3, 2009
Flash on the Beach is a couple of weeks away, but I just can’t wait to get to Brighton. Haven’t been in a Flash conference for a few months, and I really miss it.
FOTB is also very special and it definitely feels like my home conference. John Davey works very hard to make it an amazing event and I’m sure this time will be even better.
During my session I’ll be presenting for the first time our latest project work at HelloEnjoy including our first iPhone app and our new site. I’m also looking forward to participate in an Adobe panel about the future of online advertising.
Hope to see you there, please come and say hello.
